We’re proud to share that three of our search technicians have successfully completed the intensive Lowland Rescue Search Operations Officer course at the Emergency Services Training Centre (ESTC) in Birkenhead.

Congratulations to 7 seven of our team, who passed their RPAS (Drone) General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC) last weekend.

This weekend our new recruits "Class of 25" undertook their Lowland Rescue Search Techniques Course. The course is their final qualification training. 

BLSAR is delighted to announce that Jimi Rae, Paul Martin, and Rob Ickinger have successfully completed the rigorous Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT) course!

Its been a busy 6 months for BLSAR, we have been involved in 37 incidents (inc assists), and 83 exercises, some in conjunction with RBFRS to fine tune our joint capabilities.
