Search & Rescue
Search Communications and Progress
We respectfully ask that you understand we cannot always update you on searches we conduct. There may be many reasons for this;
Thames Valley Police decide what does and doesn't go into the public domain in relation to an ongoing search or investigation. We will only ever put up our standard message to say the team has been called out and share their official press releases and appeals. Occasionally we will put our own press release in the days following the incident, but only where appropriate.
We very rarely check our social media account when we're deployed on a search as we are as you will understand too busy doing other tasks!
If you have urgent information regarding a live search, please call 101, or if there is a danger to life then call 999.
Could YOU be our missing person?
