Lauren’s Journey to Making a Real Impact in Her Community

Lauren Ayres day job is in finance. At the start of the year she set out with a goal: to give back to her community and make a positive difference in the lives of those around her. By spring, she discovered a charity close to her heart and committed herself to contributing fully—learning new skills and becoming an active, valuable member of the team.
Over the course of three months, Lauren dedicated herself to training weekends, learning essential techniques, and stepping outside her comfort zone—sacrificing nights out and trips with friends along the way.
We are proud to announce that Lauren is officially a registered volunteer technical with Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue
Congratulations to Lauren and all our newly qualified Search Technicians. Your commitment strengthens the safety and well-being of our community.
If you’ve ever wanted to do something meaningful, there’s no better time. Whether you join in an operational role or as part of our support team, you’ll gain valuable skills while helping locate high-risk, vulnerable missing people.
